Abstract: High purity lithium carbonate used as the key raw material of lithium ion battery，can be prepared from industrial lithium carbonate by the carbonization and recrystallization processes.In order to ensure the quality of high purity lithium carbonate，production enterprises will generally discharge 50~80 kg lithium-bearing mother liquor when producing 1 t high purity lithium carbonate.How to reasonably recycle these lithium resources is the present focus in the study of lithium industry. Based on solubility，use and on added value of lithium compounds，a preparation technology of high value-added lithium phosphate with lithium in the mother liquor as raw material has been developed.Results showed that the products complied with requirements of Lithium Phosphate for Production of Red Luminescent Material，YS/T 637—2007.
