退役锂离子电池电解液资源化回收技术进展与展望

摘要:

锂离子电池因其出色的性能成为目前应用最多和最广的电池产品,2022年中国锂电池出货量高达750 GW·h且保持继续增长趋势。锂离子电池使用量的爆发式增长引起了人们对于退役锂离子电池对环境影响和资源化利用的高度关注。锂离子电池电解液是锂离子电池的关键组分,主要由高价值的锂盐电解质和有机溶剂组成,而退役锂离子电池电解液回收技术依然处于开发阶段,尚无工业化应用。为了应对锂离子电池的退役潮,研究绿色高效的回收技术以安全环保的方式实现对电解液的资源化回收具有重要的现实意义。全面总结了目前锂离子电池电解液回收的各类技术,从原理、环境影响、效率、工业化前景角度对各类技术进行了剖析,基于回收原理将目前的技术分为直接回收法和转化回收法。此外,提出了未来的研究方向和发展挑战。

Abstract:

As state⁃of⁃the⁃art batteries,lithium⁃ion batteries(LIBs) have become the most widely used batteries.China's LIBs shipments amounted to as much as 750 GW·h in 2022 and keep on a continuous growth trend.The growing use of LIBs has triggered great concern about the environmental impact and resource utilization of spent LIBs.Lithium⁃ion battery electrolyte is a key component of lithium⁃ion batteries,mainly composed of high⁃value lithium salt electrolyte and organic solvents,while the electrolyte recycling technology for decommissioned lithium⁃ion batteries is still in the developmental stage,and there is no industrialized application yet.In order to cope with the dramatic increase of decommissioned LIBs,it is of great practical significance to study green and efficient recycling technologies to realize the resource recovery of electrolyte in a safe and environmentally friendly way.Various types of technologies on lithium⁃ion battery electrolyte recycling were comprehensively overviewed and analyzed from the perspectives of principle,environmental impact,efficiency,and industrialization prospect.And the current technologies were divided into direct recycling and conversion recycling based on the recycling principle.In addition,future research directions and challenges were proposed.
