Abstract:

Nano-alumina powder materials were prepared by hydrothermal reaction and high-temperature calcination by using sodium aluminate(NaAlO2) and aluminum chloride(AlCl3·6H2O) as aluminum sources, and glucose, chitosan and CTAB as structure directing agents, respectively. The products were systematically characterized by the means of powder X-ray diffrac-tion(XRD),scanning electron microscope(SEM),N2 adsorption and desorption, and Fourier infrared spectroscopy(FT-IR). Results showed that all the products were γ-Al2O3 with mesoporous structure, which presented the nanoparticles morphology and good dispersion. Among them,γ-Al2O3 which regulated by glucose has a large specific surface area(437 m2/g) and pore volume (0.60 cm3/g).The adsorption results of four kinds of mesoporous γ-Al2O3 towards F- solution showed that the best defluorination effect was found in γ-Al2O3 adsorbent regulated by glucose.
