Abstract:

Polycyclic aromatics adsorbent was prepared with special template, and characterized through X-ray diffractometer(XRD),automatic specifics surface analysis detector(BET),temperature programmed chemisorption analyzer(NH3-TPD),pyridine adsorption infrared spectrometer(Py-IR),scanning electron microscope and transmission electron microscope testers(SEM/TEM) with or without template addition.Taking simulated oil as raw material,on fixed bed and simulated moving bed adsorption and separation device respectively, the separation performance of polycyclic aromatics was investigated. The experimental results showed that compared with adsorbents without template addition, the average pore size of adsorbents with template addition was increased by 43.3%,the microporous surface area was decreased by 72.2%,the microporous volume was decreased by 87.5%,the weak acid content was increased by 31.2%,the strong acid content was increased by 60%,the relative separation of polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons/non aromatic hydrocarbons was increased by 52.7%,the desorption time of polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons was decreased by 41.4%,and the saturated adsorption capacity of methyl naphthalene was increased by 14.6%.Polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbon adsorbents prepared using specialized templates operated stably for one month on simulated moving bed device, non⁃aromatic content of non⁃aromatic products was more than 95%,aromatics content of polycyclic aromatics products was more than 95%.
