Abstract:

Lithium manganese oxides precursor was synthesized by high-temperature solid phase method using manganese dioxide and lithium hydroxide as raw materials. Then manganese oxides lithium ion sieve was prepared by using ion-exchange technology and was used to adsorb Li + from aqueous solution. The effects of Al 3+ and La 3+ doping on the structure, morphology and absorption performance of manganese oxides lithium ion sieve was investigated. The products were characterized by pow-der X-ray diffraction(XRD),scanning electron microscope(SEM) and Fourier infrared spectroscopy(FTIR).The results showed that manganese oxides lithium ion sieve presents spinel type structure with flaky morphology and uniform dispersion. The products doped with Al 3+ and La 3+ still maintained spinel type structure, but the morphology changed, and showed irregular cubic and nanoparticles, respectively. The adsorption results showed the adsorption capacity of manganese oxides lithium ion sieve was greatly improved after doping.
