Abstract: Comprehensive recovery of valuable elements lead and copper in the lead leaching solution was made by precipitation method.Sedimentation effects of different precipitants on Pb2+ and Cu2+ were comparatively studied. The results showed that sodium carbonate as a precipitating agent had the best effect;the effects of temperature,pH,and time on the sedimentation effect were investigated by single factor experiments. The optimum conditions were as follows:the solution pH was 6 and the reaction time was 60 min at normal temperature.Under the optimum conditions, the sedimentation rates of lead and copper reached 99.99% and 97.50%,respectively.Thus,the separation and recovery of valuable elements in the lead leaching solution was achieved effectively.
