Abstract:

The adsorbent prepared with poly aluminum chloride(PAC) as raw material was studied.Under the optimal condi-tions,the maximum adsorption capacity of the adsorbent was 6.1 mg/g,and the pH of the suitable adsorption solution was at 3~5.Results showed that the absorbent had good selectivity on the Li-Ca system, the lithium ions and calcium ions were sep-arated very well, and the desorption rate reached 40.58%.The research on adsorption mechanism showed that the structure of the adsorbent did not change significantly before and after adsorption.During the adsorption and desorption process, lithium ions were intercalated and desorbed, and the intercalation and deintercalation were because of the ion exchange between lithium ions and hydrogen ions.
