填料氧化铝的表面处理研究

摘要:

为了改善填料氧化铝在有机基体中的分散性和填充均匀度,增强粉体与有机环氧树脂的界面亲和性,获得性能优异的复合材料,采用硅烷偶联剂对环氧浇注用填料氧化铝进行表面改性处理,研究了偶联剂种类、用量、改性方式和工艺条件对填料氧化铝吸油值和活化指数及环氧浇注体系可使用时间和黏度的影响。结果表明,偶联剂可以有效改善填料氧化铝的吸油值、填料氧化铝环氧浇注体系的黏度及可使用时间。通过实验,获得较佳的工艺条件为:选用B偶联剂,用量为0.75%(质量分数),反应温度为105 ℃、pH为4,改性方式为干法改性,此时活化指数可达98.2%,吸油值降低了19%,可使用时间增加52%。采用X射线衍射仪和扫描电子显微镜分别对表面处理前后填料氧化铝粉体的物相结构和微观形貌进行了表征。结果表明,表面处理后的填料氧化铝粉体内部晶体结构未发生改变,粉体分散较均匀。

Abstract:

In order to improve the dispersion and uniformity of the alumina filler in the organic matrix, enhence the interface affinity between alumina and organic epoxy resin,obtain a composite material with excellent performance,silane coupling agent was used to modify the surface properties of alumina filler for epoxy casting.The effects of coupling agent type,dosage,modification methods and process conditions on the oil absorption rate,activation index of filler alumina,the working time and viscosity of epoxy pouring system were investigated.The experimental results showed that the oil absorption value of the alumina filler,the viscosity and workinge time of the epoxy casting system were effectively improved by the coupling agent.According to the experiment results,most appropriate test conditions were that 0.75% of coupling agent B modified with dry modification was selected as the coupling agent,the reaction temperature and pH value were 105 ℃ and 4,respectively.Under the experiment conditions as described above,the activation index of the obtained alumina was 98.2%,the oil absorption rate was reduced by 19%,and an increase in the working time to 52%.The phase structures and microstructural properties of the modified filler alumina powder were investigated using X-ray diffraction and scanning electron microscopy,respectively.The results indicated that the internal crystal structure of the modified alumina filler powder were not changed,and the dispersion of powder was uniform.
