Research progress on resource utilization of Fenton sludge

Abstract:

Fenton sludge is a kind of industrial hazardous waste produced by Fenton oxidation technology after treating industrial organic wastewater.Fenton sludge contains a large amount of iron resources,which has a high resource recovery potential and has become a research hotspot at home and abroad.Various kinds of Fenton sludge resource utilization methods at home and abroad were summarized from two aspects of chemical method and thermal method of Fenton sludge.The research progress,advantages and disadvantages as well as core technologies of various typical methods were introduced.The future development goals of Fenton sludge resource utilization were prospected.Based on the actual operation situation of thermal power plants in China,a new way of Fenton sludge resource utilization was proposed.It was used as raw materials to prepare the iron?based selective catalytic reduction(SCR) denitration catalyst for thermal power plants,in order to fully recover and utilize the iron resources in Fenton iron slime and reduce the environmental harm caused by iron slime accumulation.
