Abstract: Raw materials and mineral resources of inorganic salts in China mainly distributes in the midwest regions and the advantage of inorganic salt resources in the northwest of China primarily reflects in the aspect of salt lake resources.Chaerhan salt lake and Luobubo salt lake resources were introduced，salt chemical industry chain was given in detail，and comprehensive development of potassium，sodium，and magnesium salt resources was analyzed emphatically.Insisted on the idea of green economy development and the target of ‘resource-product-renewable resource’ and ‘low exploration-high use-low emission’. Besides，Northwest areas have rich petroleum，natural gas，and coal resources that provide cheap and sufficient energy for the development of northwest inorganic salt industry.
