Abstract: Aimed at salt lake brine containing Li+,Na+,K+,Cl- and SO42-,the study on the change of liquid composition and crys tallization regularity of the brine with different compositions were carried out during natural and artificial cooling processes. The results showed:for the brines with the approximate concentrations, natural and artificial cooling processes had little effec ted on the change of liquid composition and crystallization regularity of the brine at some extent;for the brine with high conc entration of sulfate,as the decreasing of temperature, the sulfate content reduced gradually, especially at -10 ℃;when the tem perature decreased to -15 ℃,the sulfate mass fraction reached about 0.5%;for the brines with low sulfate and high lithium,as the temperature decreasing, potassium chloride crystallized out and lithium was enriched;compared with the normal tempera ture, there was no double salts separated from the salt lake brine containing Li+,Na+,K+,Cl- and SO42- at low temperature. The research would provide a theoretical guidance to exploit the salt lake source in the environment of low temperature.
