Analysis on physicochemical properties and resource utilization of fly ash of power plants in Liupanshui

Abstract: In order to fully utilize the fly ash resources of power plants in Liupanshui,physical and chemical properties of fly ash were studied by the modern analysis methods of XRF,XRD,and FT-IR. The results showed: fly ash was mainly  composed of mullite and a small amount of quartz,the total mass fraction of SiO2,Al2O3,and Fe2O3  was about 80%,belongs to the type of high silicon,iron,and low aluminum.According to the present situation of the utilization,features,and the morphologies and structures of the fly ash, the fine and high added value technology of sustainable development suitable for comprehensive utilization of fly ash in Liupanshui was put forward.
