Abstract: Hydrolysis is the key core technology in production of titanium dioxide by sulfuric acid method.In order to get good hydrolysis particles and hydrolysis yield,tracking,commissioning,and summarizing were made on the influences of composition of crystal seed and hydrolysis control methods on hydrolysis particles and hydrolysis yield in hydrolysis process of titanium dioxide.Suitable technology control conditions for fine hydrolysis particles and high hydrolysis yield were found,i.e.control the size of young crystal seed at 2~3 nm during the seed preparation,excessive acidity at 20%~25%,mass concentration of TiO₂ at 160~190 g/L while hydrolysis,hydrolysis temperature at 112~114 ℃,stirring speed at 30~40 r/min while stirring intensity warm-up,at 15~20 r/min before and after the induction period,and at 8~15 r/min in induction period.
