Study on a new production process of pseudo-boehmite and its application in hydrofining catalysts

Abstract:

A new production process of pseudo-boehmite was developed by CenerTech Tianjin Chemical Research and Design Institute Co.,Ltd.,which solved the shortcomings of high production cost and difficult control of product structure by conven-tional methods.The new process for the production of pseudo-boehmite achieved stabilization and serialization,and provided a reliable guarantee for the stability of the performance of the hydrofining catalyst product.A high performance sulfurized THFS-I catalyst for reforming pre-hydrogenation was successfully developed using pseudo-boehmite TCA-01 as support ma-terial.The catalyst had excellent hydrodesulfurization and hydrodenitrification activity.The mass fraction of S and N in hydro-genated products was both less than 0.5 μg/g,which met the requirements of reforming feed.High performance THDS-I cata-lyst for diesel hydrofining was successfully developed using TCA-01 as carrier material.The overall performance of the cata-lyst was better than that of pseudo-boehmite made by conventional methods.
