Abstract: The study on the change of liquid composition and crystallization regularity has been carried out for the Na+∥Cl-,SO42-,NO3--H2O system with different concentration characteristics in natural cooling process, which was involved in development of nitrate mine in Xinjiang,China. Results showed that,as the temperature decreased, crystallization field of Na2SO4·10H2O expanded but ones of Na2SO4·NaNO3·H2O and Na2SO4 became small, and disappeared, and ones of NaCl and NaNO3 changed a little.Crystallization pathways of solution saturated with different salts were different in cooling process. For the brine saturated with NaCl,NaNO3,and Na2SO4·NaNO3·H2O,as the temperature decreased, three salts were always saturated and precipitated, however, the liquid composition was determined by the crystallization rate of three salts.
