Abstract:

Amorphous Ni-B alloy pillared bentonite catalyst was prepared by an impregnation followed chemical reduction method. The effect of preparation conditions on the catalytic performance of the catalyst for hydrogenation of nitrobenzene to aniline were investigated. The crystal phase, morphology, and specific surface area of the catalyst were characterized. The results showed that the amorphous Ni-B alloy pillared bentonite catalyst had a large specific surface area, and the amorphous Ni-B alloy had good dispersion in the pores of the pillared bentonite, and exhibited good catalytic hydrogenation performance and stability.Under the conditions of initial pressure of 2.0 MPa,reaction temperature of 110 ℃ and reaction time of 2 h,the conversion rate of nitrobenzene and the selectivity of aniline over the amorphous Ni-B pillared bentonite catalyst reached 92.6% and 96.1%,respectively.After the catalyst was used for 6 times, the conversion rate of nitrobenzene and the selectivity of aniline were maintained at 88.9% and 93.8%,respectively.
