高强萤石尾矿陶粒的制备及其性能研究

Syudy on preparation of high-strength ceramsite from fluorite tailings and its properties

以萤石尾矿和黏土为原料,碳化硅(SiC)作发泡剂,采用烧结法制备高强陶粒,系统探究了萤石尾矿配比、烧结温度、烧结时间和SiC外配量对陶粒性能的影响规律,并结合热力学计算、X射线衍射光谱、扫描电子显微镜等手段揭示萤石尾矿陶粒烧结过程中的液相、物相组成和微观结构的演变机理。研究结果表明,当萤石尾矿配比为70%(质量分数)、黏土配比为30%(质量分数)、SiC外配量为0.5%(质量分数)、预热温度为450 ℃、预热时间为15 min、烧结温度为1 210 ℃、烧结时间为30 min、升温速率为5 ℃/min时,制得的萤石尾矿陶粒压裂力达527.9 N、表观密度达0.89 g/cm3、1 h吸水率达0.21%、筒压强度达4.63 MPa、堆积密度达594.6 kg/m3,符合GB/T 17431.1—2010《轻集料及其实验方法》中轻集料600级高强陶粒的要求,该研究成果可为萤石尾矿的资源化利用提供新方法。

Abstract:

Fluorite tailings-based lightweight high-strength ceramsite was prepared by sintering with fluorite tailings and clay as raw materials and silicon carbide(SiC) as foaming agent.The effects of the amount of fluorite tailings,sintering temperature,sintering duration and SiC external dosage on the properties of ceramsite were systematically investi-gated.The crystal phase and microstructure of the obtained ceramsite samples were also analyzed by thermodynamic calculation,X-ray diffraction spectrum,scanning electron microscope and other detection methods.The results showed that when the proportion of fluorite tailings was 70%(mass fraction),the proportion of clay was 30%(mass fraction),the external proportion of SiC was 0.5%(mass fraction),the preheating temperature was 450 ℃,the preheating time was 15 min,the sintering temperature as 1 210 ℃,the sintering time was 30 min,and the heating rate was 5 ℃/min,the fracturing force of the obtained fluorite tailings ceramisite was 527.9 N,the apparent density was 0.89 g/cm3,the water absorption rate was 0.21% in 1 h,and the cylinder compressive strength was 4.63 MPa,the bulk density was 594.6 kg/m3,which met the requirements of Grade 600 high-strength ceramsite for lightweight aggregates in GB/T 17431.1—2010 “Lightweight Aggregates and Experimental Methods”.The research results could provide a new method for the resource utilization of fluorite tailings.
