Abstract:

Using ZnSO4·7H2O as precursor and stellerite as carrier,ZnO/stellerite photocatalytic composites were prepared by direct deposition. The phase compositions, aperture character and micromorphology of the as-prepared composites were char-acterized by XRD,BET and SEM,respectively. In addition, the effects of ZnO loading amounts and calcination temperatures on the degradation properties of methylene blue of nano-ZnO/stellerite photocatalytic composites were investigated. The re-sults showed that the composite material realized the close combination and effective dispersion of hexagonal lead zinc oxide and pyroxene, and the composites′ structure effectively inhibited the recombination of photogenerated-carrier,improved the adsorption performance and photocatalytic efficiency of the material. With 30%(mass ratio of ZnO to stellerite) ZnO loaded and calcination temperature of 300 ℃,the composite exhibited the best photocatalytic performance.
