Abstract: With Al(NO3)3 as the source of aluminum,(NH4)2CO3 as the precipitant, and polyethyleneglycol(PEG1450) as template, the inexpensive ordered mesoporous alumina(OMA) was synthesized, being about the adsorbent supporter. With 2- amino-2-methyl-1-propylalcohol(AMP) as the modification agent,a high performance and low cost CO2 adsorbent,OMA-AMP was prepared by over-load impregnation method. The specific surface and pore structure of synthesized sorbent were characterized by BET,XRD,TEM,and IR.Results showed OMA-AMP had the features of high specific surface area, narrow pore size distribution, and organized pore structure. The OMA-AMP performance was investigated from the four aspects of impregnation time, adsorption bed temperature, gas velocity, and AMP concentration by simulated flue gas.Adsorption experiments results showed that under the conditions of mass fraction of AMP 50%,impregnation time of 12 h,adsorption temperature of 70 ℃ and gas velocity of 40 mL/min,the OMA-AMP′s adsorption amount to CO2 was as high as 84.15 mg/g, and the adsorption performance was stable and the regeneration effect was good as well. The preparation cost was low,and adsorbent efficiency was high. This adsorbent can solve the constant high cost problem in CO2 capture technology. Therefore, it has a real industrial application value.
