Abstract: With zirconium hydroxide(ZrH) as the adsorbent for phosphate radicals in the water solution, the molecular formulas of ZrH at different calcined temperatures were studied, and the influence of the calcined temperature on the adsorption effect of phosphate radicals was also investigated. The optimum experimental conditions were determined through orthogonal experiments, and the adsorption capacity of ZrH was 210.9 mg/g under those conditions. The adsorption capacity of ZrH with the treatment at 100,200,300,400,500,600 ℃respectively was dramatically decreased.Calcined at 700 ℃,the calcined product was ZrO2 and the adsorptivity disappeared.TG and XRD analysis showed that the surface active groups (—OH) of ZrH reduced with the increasing calcined temperature.According to above research, the number of surface hydroxyl had a direct effect on adsorbent′s adsorption.
