Research progress of recovery technology of valuable elements from coal gangue

Abstract:

Coal gangue is one of the largest industrial solid waste emissions and storage in China.It is rich in Al,Si,Fe and some trace elements,such as Li,Ga,Ti and rare earth elements.One or many of these elements can be comprehensively utilized after being enriched to industrial value.The research status of coal gangue in the field of aluminum,silicon,iron and rare metal recovery was summarized.By analyzing the advantages and disadvantages of the above chemical element recovery technologies,it was pointed out that technical barrier was an urgent problem in the utilization of coal gangue.the scientific combination of the application of different types of coal gangue and the application research of coal gangue in different industries was explored.Shortening the process flow and forming the industrial chain of coal gangue utilization would be the only way to realize the industrialization of comprehensive utilization of coal gangue as soon as possible.
