碱式碳酸镁基复合阻燃剂的制备及其阻燃性能研究

Abstract:

A series of flame retardantcy EVA matrix composites were prepared by mixing and compression molding with silane surface treated basic magnesium carbonate nanosheets,magnesium hydroxide and aluminum hydroxide as composite flame retardants.The mechanical properties,processability and flame retardancy of the composites were investigated by uni-versal tensile test,melt index test,vertical buring test and cone calorimetric test respectively.And the thermal decomposition behavior of the composite flame retardant was studied by thermogravimetric analysis.The results showed that the composite flame retardant can decompose in a wider combustion temperature range with a proper proportion of flame retardant/EVA,which has a better flame retardant effect.And the heat release rate and smoke release rate of the composite flame retardant/EVA composite were significantly reduced to 181.060 kW/m² and 0.032 m²/s,respectively.In addition,the tensile strength of the composite flame retardant/EVA composite was 9.73 MPa,the elongation at break was 155.07%,and the melt index was 1.00 g per 10 min,which can be used in the wire and cable industry.
