Abstract: The air blow-out method was utilized to exact iodine from kelp blanching waste water and the experimental condi- tions, such as pH,temperature, and air flow, were optimized with 3 factors and 4 levels orthogonal tests to improve the iodine exaction rate.In addition, the effects of different oxidizers(NaNO2-H2O2,NaClO,and NaNO2) under the optimized conditions were investigated. Results showed that the optimum reaction conditions were pH of 2.0,temperature of 70 ℃,and air blow-in of 2 L/min.Under the optimized conditions, the exaction rate was up to 96.2%.There is no significant difference on the oxidizing effect among three oxidizers, and the exaction rate all could be up to 90%.Therefore,oxidizing agent′s kind had no obvious effect on the reaction.
