Study on ultrafiltration+nanofiltration double membrane treatment of iron process iron phosphate production wastewater

Abstract:

The production process of iron phosphate with iron powder and phosphoric acid as raw materials has gradually become the mainstream production process of iron phosphate because of its small wastewater discharge and low environmental protection pressure.In order to further realize the purpose of clean production and recycling of phosphoric acid,the feasibility of ‘ultrafiltration+nanofiltration’ double membrane treatment system to deeply treat the wastewater produced by this process was studied,and the influence of inlet pressure and temperature on the separation performance of nanofiltration membrane was examined.The results showed that the integrated process of ‘ultrafiltration+nanofiltration’ was used to treat the wastewater from iron phosphate production with iron powder and phosphoric acid as raw materials.The removal rates of COD and SS in ultrafiltration effluent were 72% and 79%,respectively.The rejection rates of various metal cations by nanofiltration were all above 96%.The effect of phosphoric acid permeation double membrane was better,and the rejection rates of phosphoric acid were all within 5%.Finally,the purified phosphoric acid could be obtained from the nanofiltration filtrate and the phosphoric acid could be reused.The ultrafiltration pretreatment in operation could significantly reduce the pollution of nanofiltration membrane,improve the cleaning effect of nanofiltration membrane,and prolong the service life of nanofiltration membrane.In addition,the optimal operation condition of nanofiltration in single factor experiment was:water inlet pressure was 0.4 MPa and temperature was 30 ℃.The results of this study had laid a technical foundation for the realization of phosphoric acid resource recycling of iron phosphate production wastewater,and had a good promotion prospect.
