Abstract:

With the phosphorous slag as main raw material, the effects of the mass ratio of phosphorous slag powder, fly ash and hydrated lime, the mass ratio of water and glue, the mass ratio of glue and bone and the composition of aggregate etc.on the properties of phosphorous slag-based artificial marble were studied. The material properties were characterized by SEM electron microscope and bending and compression test instrument. The results showed that the ratio of phosphorus slag-based cementation materials,i.e.the mass ratio of phosphorus slag powder, fly ash and hydrated lime was 90:4:6,the mass ratio of water to glue was 0.18,the mass ratio of glue to bone was 1:1.5,and aggregate gradation(the mass ratio of slag, coarse phosphorus slag and fine phosphorus slag) was 10:40:10.The compressive strength and flexural strength of phosphorous slag-based artificial marble can reach 94.38 MPa and 12.09 MPa respectively. Its compressive strength and flexural strength are higher than natural marble. It can be used as an alternative to natural marble in a wide range of fields, opening up a new path for the resource utilization of phosphorus residue.

Key words: phosphorus slag, artificial marble, fly ash, hydrated lime
