Study on thermal stability of CC-OA-ZnO low eutectic solvent system

摘要:

针对氧化锌在氯化胆碱-二水合草酸(CC-OA)体系中溶解度及溶解速度受温度制约的问题,采用热重分析法探究ZnO质量浓度、保温时间及温度对CC-OA-ZnO体系热稳定性的影响。研究结果表明:CC-OA的热分解过程可分为3个主要阶段,首先是水分的脱除与氢键的断裂,CC-OA重新分解为ChCl和OA;随后进入OA的热分解阶段;最终则是ChCl的热分解阶段。对于CC-OA-ZnO体系,其热分解机理同样分为3个阶段,其中第2和第3阶段与CC-OA相同;在第1阶段中,CC-OA-ZnO体系不仅需克服氢键作用,还需克服聚合作用。随着ZnO质量浓度的增加,CC-OA-ZnO体系的热重(TG)及微分热重(DTG)曲线呈现出向高温方向偏移的趋势,表明随着ZnO质量浓度的增加,体系具有更好的短期热稳定性。在保温时间为0~64 h时,较高的ZnO质量浓度有利于提升体系的长期热稳定性,且体系的最终现象与原样相比并无显著变化。

Abstract:

In response to the temperature dependent solubility and dissolution rate of zinc oxide in the choline chloride oxalic acid dihydrate(CC-OA) system,thermogravimetric analysis was used to investigate the effects of zinc oxide concentration w(ZnO),holding time,and temperature on the thermal stability of the CC-OA-ZnO system.The research results indicated that the thermal decomposition process of CC-OA could be divided into three main stages,first of which was the removal of water and the breaking of hydrogen bonds,CC-OA was decomposed back into ChCl and OA.Subsequently,it entered the thermal decomposition stage of OA.The final stage was the thermal decomposition of ChCl.For the CC-OA-ZnO system,its thermal decomposition mechanism could also be divided into three stages,with the second and third stages being the same as CC-OA.In the first stage,the CC-OA-ZnO system need to overcome hydrogen bonding and polymerization.With the increase of w(ZnO),the thermogravimetric (TG) and differential thermogravimetric(DTG) curves of the CC-OA-ZnO system showed a trend of shifting towards high temperatures,indicating that the system had better short-term thermal stability with the increase of w(ZnO).Within the insulation time range of 0 h to 64 h,a higher w(ZnO) was beneficial for improving the long-term thermal stability of the system,and the final phenomenon of the system did not show significant changes compared to the original sample.
