Preparation of phosphorus-doped carbon quantum dots and activation of peroxymonosulfate for degradation of methylene blue

摘要:

报道了一种磷掺杂碳量子点(P-CQDs)的方法,用红外光谱(FT-IR)、X射线光电子能谱仪(XPS)、透射电子显微镜(TEM)等对P-CQDs进行了详细表征,结果证实磷成功接入了CQDs。引入磷可以减少CQDs的禁带宽度,从而提高对光的吸收和促进光生电子转移。在可见光照射下,P-CQDs的用量为0.5 g/L、过一硫酸盐(PMS)的浓度为0.4 mmol/L时,10 min内亚甲基蓝(MB)的降解率为99%。考察了P-CQDs用量、PMS浓度和MB浓度等因素对体系降解MB效率的影响。同时,用自由基淬灭实验考察了P-CQDs光催化活化PMS降解MB的机理,结果表明超氧自由基(O2•-)是主要的活性物质。

Abstract:

A phosphorus-doped carbon quantum dots(P-CQDs) method was reported,detailed characterization of P-CQDs was performed by infrared spectroscopy(FT-IR),X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy(XPS),and transmission electron microscopy(TEM),and the results confirmed that phosphorus was successfully accessed CQDs.The introduction of phosphorus could reduce the forbidden band width of CQDs,thus improving the absorption of light and promoting photogenerated electron transfer.Under visible light irradiation,the degradation of MB was 99% in 10 min at the PMS concentration of 0.4 mmol/L at the P-CQDs dosage of 0.5 g/L.The effects of P-CQDs dosage,PMS concentration and MB concentration on the system degradation efficiency of MB were investigated.Meanwhile,the mechanism of MB degradation by P-CQDs photocatalytically activated PMS was investigated by free radical burst experiments,and the results showed that superoxide radical(O2•-) was the main active substance.
