金属离子对白云石矿物颗粒分散行为的影响

Effect of metallic ions on dispersion behavior of dolomite mineral particles

摘要:

为研究金属离子对白云石矿浆体系分散行为的影响,通过浊度实验研究了矿浆pH及Ca2+、Mg2+、Fe3+、Al3+等金属离子对白云石矿浆浊度的影响,并采用Zeta电位、XPS和经典DLVO理论模型等进行表征。结果表明:金属离子种类和矿浆pH对白云石颗粒分散行为具有不同程度的抑制作用;未添加金属离子条件下,在pH为4~10时,矿浆浊度值均保持在400 NTU左右,白云石颗粒分散行为良好;添加金属离子后,白云石矿浆浊度均出现不同程度的下降,几种金属离子对白云石颗粒分散行为的抑制能力由大到小的顺序依次为Fe3+、Al3+、Mg2+、Ca2+。在一定pH范围内,金属离子通过羟基络合物或沉淀形式附着在白云石颗粒表面,消除白云石颗粒之间的相互作用能势垒,而颗粒之间通过桥联作用发生聚集,从而破坏了白云石颗粒在矿浆体系中的分散行为。

Abstract:

In order to study the effect of metal ions on the dispersion and agglomeration behavior of dolomite slurry system,the effects of slurry pH value and Ca2+,Mg2+,Fe3+ and Al3+ metal ions on the turbidity of dolomite slurry were studied by turbidity experiment.Zeta potential,XPS analysis and classical DLVO theoretical model were used for characterization.The results showed that the metal ions and pulp pH value had different degrees of inhibition on the dispersion behavior of dolomite particles.Under the condition of no metal ions added,the turbidity value of the pulp was maintained at about 400 NTU in the pH range of 4~10,and the dolomite particles were well dispersed.After adding metal ions,the turbidity of dolomite slurry was decreased to varying degrees.The order of inhibition ability of several metal ions on dolomite dispersion behavior was Fe3+,Al3+,Mg2+,Ca2+.The analysis showed that in a certain pH range,metal ions were attached to the surface of dolomite particles through hydroxyl complexes or precipitates,eliminating the interaction energy barrier between dolomite particles,and the particles were aggregated by bridging,thus destroying the dispersion behavior of dolomite particles in the slurry system.
