Water classified recycling strategy applied in calcium carbonate production enterprise

Abstract: Based on the analysis of process water and wastewater-discharge in the calcium carbonate production enterprises, the strategy of water classified recycling and cascade utilization was discussed for the process.The utilization of water in the process can be classified into three recirculation systems: cooling-water circulation system,which includes water utilization for cooling in compressor,refrigerator,and process medium;dedusting-water circulation system,which mainly includes washing water for the kiln gas from calcination of limestone; and process-water circulation,which includes water from thickening device,filtering machine,and dryer etc.The balance calculation results showed that the dosage of first water will reduced significantly with the above three water classified recycling systems.Thus the water can be saved and the pollution will be reduced.
