Abstract: The ternary cathode material was prepared by a hydroxyl co-precipitation method. The process of surfactant LAS assisting was designed. The precursor of LiNi1/3Co1/3Mn1/3O2 cathode material was prepared at pH=11,and then was calcined at 900 ℃ for 15 h in air controllable atmosphere. Then the as-prepared samples were characterized by XRD,SEM,and charge/dis- charge tests. The influence of different adding amounts of LAS on the product was investigated. Results showed that the LAS not only would not affect the layer structure, but also improved the material particle size distribution and made uniform particle dis- tribution. Within the range of 2.5~4.6 V,the initial discharge specific capacity was as high as 181.9 mA·h/g at 0.1 C,and after 30 cycles of discharging, the specific capacity fell to 168.2 mA·h/g,and the capacity retention rate was 92.46%.
