Abstract: Pb-doped TiO2 sol was prepared by sol-gel method,in which tetrabutyl titanate was used as Ti-precursor and lead acetate as doping substance donor.TiO2 film was successively prepared on cover glass by dip-coating.The prepared samples were characterized by XRD and SEM.The influencing factors of different heat treatment temperatures and amounts of Pb2+ doping were investigated. The photocatalytic activities of Pb-TiO2 films were tested by degradation of methyl orange, with 30 W UV lamp as the light source. Results showed that the amount of Pb2+ can promote the increasing of anatase-phased TiO2 content and the decreasing of grain size; crystallinity of Pb-TiO2 increased with the increasing of treatment temperature, and morphology of TiO2 particles on composite film surface became regular shape gradually. When the heat treatment temperature was 600 ℃ and mass fraction of Pb2+ was 0.3%,the composite film had better photocatalytic activity.
