Abstract:

The phosphorus fertilizer containing elemental sulfur is a kind of fertilizer which can slowly provide sulfur nutrition and improve the absorption rate of phosphorus,but its production technology has been protected by foreign patents.A method that could prepare stable and uniformly dispersed sulfur-containing slurry,with rod mill to wet-grind sulfur,and with exhaust-gas washing liquid and phosphoric acid in phosphate fertilizer enterprises as dispersing media was studied.The sulfur-containing slurry was prepared in a small production plant by using the above method.Sulfur containing slurry was added to phosphoric acid proportionally to produce sulfur-containing phosphorous fertilizer without affecting the production system of phosphorous fertilizer.The SEM characterization showed that the sulfur particles in the sulfur containing phosphorous fertilizer were uniformly distributed in the product.
