Research advances in synthesis of cobalt oxide cathode material for lithium-ion batteries

Abstract: As a kind of lithium-ion battery cathode material,cobalt oxide(Co3O4) has been researched extensively.In recent years,improvement for the performance of Co3O4 has always been one of the hot spots in investigation domain of lithium-ion battery.The latest research advances in Co3O4 as cathode material for lithium-ion batteries was reviewed.The discussion was made from the aspects,such as structure,charge-discharge mechanism,synthetic method,and cornpound modification.It also indicated the development tendency of Co3O4 as cathode material for lithium-ion batteries in future.
