Abstract: In order to solve the problems，such as redundancy equipment，small-scale，wide distribution，and weak competitiveness of phosphate producers，it was necessary to make a research on multi-functionalization of production devices of sodium tripolyphosphate with drying-polymerization two-step process，which was characterized by wide distribution，greatness of quantity and large capacity.The necessity and importance of research，and the possibility and feasibility of multi-functionalization of sodium tripolyphosphate devices were discussed.On the basis of practice，a systemantic method and technology achieveing diverse productions of sodium phosphate products in a sodium tripolyphosphate plant with a hydrothermal drying-polymerization two-step process was introduced.Practice proofed that this method and technology could be fully implemented. Meanwhile，on this basis，a bold vision about producing potassium-，calcium-，and sodium phosphate salts in the same unit was put forward，which explored new ideas and development models for phosphate production.
