西藏硫酸镁亚型盐湖原卤水吸附提锂中试研究

Pilot study on lithium extraction by adsorption from raw brine of magnesium sulfate subtype salt lakes in Tibet

摘要:

以西藏地区具有代表性的某硫酸镁亚型盐湖为研究对象,建成了全球首条以锰系吸附剂为锂离子载体的盐湖原卤水提锂中试生产线,主要研究了中试条件下的吸附/解吸操作参数,得到较优工艺条件:卤水流速为2.0 BV/h、卤水体积为12 BV、pH调节剂质量分数为0.03%、解吸用硫酸浓度为0.06 mol/L、稀酸流速为3.0 BV/h、稀酸体积为5.5~6.0 BV。在该条件下,吸附工段试验结果为卤水总锂回收率≥90%、锂离子平均操作吸附容量≥4 mg/g、平均脱镁率≥99.0%、吸附剂单次循环溶损率≤0.05%。经过3个月连续运行,该中试生产线产出工业级碳酸锂50余吨。该新型吸附提锂工艺的碳酸锂生产成本为3.546万元/t,低于矿石法和铝系吸附剂法的碳酸锂生产成本。

Abstract:

Taking a representative magnesium sulfate subtype salt-lake in Tibet as the research object,the world′s first pilot production line for lithium extraction from raw brine in the salt-lake was established using the manganese-based adsorbent as lithium carrier in the world.The adsorption/desorption operating parameters under pilot conditions were researched,and the optimal operating conditions obtained were:brine flow rate of 2.0 BV/h,brine volume of 12 BV,and pH adjuster mass fraction of 0.03%.The concentration of sulfuric acid used for desorption was 0.06 mol/L,the flow rate of dilute acid was 3.0 BV/h,and the volume of dilute acid was 5.5~6.0 BV.Under this condition,the total lithium recovery rate of brine was ≥90%,the average operating adsorption capacity of lithium ions was ≥4 mg/g,the average magnesium removal rate was ≥99.0%,and the dissolution loss rate of the adsorbent in each cycle was ≤0.05%.After three months of continuous operation,this pilot production line had produced over 50 t of industrial grade lithium carbonate.The production cost of lithium carbonate for the new lithium extraction process was 35 460 RMB/t,which was lower to the production cost of lithium carbonate by ore-based lithium extraction and lithium extraction using aluminum-based adsorbents.
