焙烧温度与碳结构对钙碳球团抗压强度的影响

Effect of calcination temperature and carbon structure on compressive strength of CaO-containing carbon pellets

摘要:

电弧法生产电石的过程中,原料应具备一定的强度,保证产物一氧化碳顺利通过。为了提升两步法中钙碳球团的抗压强度,以混合均匀的氧化钙和贫瘦煤为原料,通过嵌样机在压力为8 MPa、时长为1 min条件下压制直径为15 mm、质量为2.5 g的钙碳球团,在温度为350~750 ℃时进行了焙烧,研究了在不同焙烧温度下碳结构对钙碳球团抗压强度的影响。结果表明:当温度为350~<550 ℃时,煤发生分解和解聚反应,半焦缺陷碳结构相对数量增加,抗压强度随着温度的升高而减小;温度为550~<650 ℃时,煤固化收缩成半焦,导致抗压强度升高,达到最大值为59.9 kPa;温度为650~750 ℃时,半焦发生缩聚反应,缺陷结构向有序性发展,发生石墨化,导致抗压强度降低。

Abstract:

In the process of arc production of calcium carbide,the raw material should have a certain strength to ensure the smooth passage of the product carbon monoxide.In order to improve the compressive strength of calcium carbon pellets in the two-step method,calcium oxide-containing carbon pellets with diameter of 15 mm and mass of 2.5 g were pressed with evenly mixed calcium oxide and lean coal at a pressure of 8 MPa and a time of 1 min by an embedded prototype,and calcined at a temperature of 350~750 ℃.The influence of carbon structure on the compressive strength of calcium oxide-containing carbon pellets at different calcination temperatures was studied.The results showed that when the temperature was 350~<550 ℃,the decomposition and de-polymerization of coal was occured,the relative number of carbon structures with semi-coke defects was increased,and the compressive strength was decreased with the increase of temperature.When the temperature was 550~<650 ℃,the coal was solidified and contracted into semi-coke,resulting in an increase in compressive strength to a maximum of 59.9 kPa.When the temperature was 650~750 ℃,the polycondensation reaction of semi-coke was occured,and the defect structure was developed to order and graphitization was occured,resulting in the reduction of compressive strength.
