Abstract: The catalyst of spherical activated alumina which applied in hydrogen peroxide production with anthraquinone method will lose its catalytic activity after used for a period of time,so it has to be regularly replaced. The regenerated bar-like alumina catalyst was prepared with inactivated alumina. Results showed that the regenerated bar-like alumina had more superior performance compared to the spherical activated alumina, the specific surface area, pore volume, average pore size, and compressive strength increased by 23.1%,24.3%,22.3%,and 3.3%,respectively.After soaking in working liquid for 60 d, these four physical-chemical properties only decreased by 29.3%,13.4%,16.3%,and 7.2% for regenerated bar-like alumina, while the spherical activated alumina fell 47.7%,40.5%,16.7%,and 59.8%,respectively.As a result, the service life of regenerated bar-like alumina increased by 1 time than that of original activated alumina.
