Abstract:

MgO-TiO2 composite inorganic ceramic microfilter membrane supports were prepared by adding porous former sintering at high temperature. The changes of porosity, bending strength and pure water flux of the samples under the same sintering system with different maximum sintering temperature and different sintering systems with the same maximum sintering temperature were investigated.Thermal analysis, microstructure and flexural strength of samples were carried out by means of TG-DSC,SEM and strength universal testing machine respectively.Research showed that the maximum sintering temperature and sintering temperature system had great influence on the performance of the samples. The excellent performance of supports with porosity of 37.57%,flexural strength of 108.65 MPa and pure water flux of 4 040 L/(m2?h?MPa) could be fabricated under the maximum sintering temperature of 1 400 ℃ and the sintering temperature system of 1400-482 with the heating rate of 4,8,2 ℃/min.
