Advances in modification of NaY zeolite

Abstract: As a common zeolite in the cracking process,NaY zeolite became the main active component of the FCC catalyst due to its high stability,high activity,high metal tolerance,and anti-coking performance.Nowadays,catalytic cracking was the most important part of heavy oil processing in China and its crude processing volume was over 5.0×108 t/a in 2015.The inferior heavy crude oil processing by catalytic cracking will remain the priority of Chinese refineries in the future.The progress of modification of NaY zeolite in recent years was summarized. Some experiences in the future modification study of the NaY zeolite were also seggested.
