Abstract: Composite additive roasting and low-acid leaching method was used to study the extraction of vanadium from stone coal mines.Effects of various process parameters of roasting and leaching processes on the leaching rate of vanadium was investigated.Experimental results showed that the optimum roasting and leaching conditions were as follows:the optimum mass ratio of Na2SO4,NaCl and Na2CO3 was 7∶1∶11 in composite additive, roasting temperature was 750 ℃,roasting time was 2.5 h,leaching temperature was 50 ℃,and leaching time was 5 h.Under the optimum conditions, the leaching rate of vanadium can reach 81.9%, and it′s significantly higher than the traditional sodium roasting process.
