Abstract: Production technology of sodium fluoride crystal by soda method has a lot of advantages,such as readily available raw materials,simple and short process,less investment,launching fast,no producing ‘three waste’,and small equipment corrosion,but there will be coprecipitation phenomenon between sodium fluoride and silica;the realization of separation of sodium fluoride crystal and silica is very difficult,so the promotion of technology is restricted.Main separation methods which can separate sodium fluoride from silica in producing sodium fluoride with soda method,including special solid-liquid separation unit method,new-type gel-separator method,double cone separator method and two-step settlement method，were introduced.Finally,the advantages and existing problems of various separation methods were exposed,and suggestions of improving each separation process were given personally.
