Abstract: Kaolinite nano metal oxide doped TiO2 photocatalytic material was prepared by sol-gel method with kaolinite as supporter and tetrabutyl titanate as precursor. The composite materials were characterized by X-ray diffraction(XRD),in frared spectroscopy(FT-IR),and Raman spectroscopy(Raman). And the photocatalysis of the composite was examined by mica pearlescent industrial wastewater under UV light irradiation. The effects of different metal oxides doping concentrations on the photocatalytic activity of the composite material were studied. Results showed that metal oxide Fe2O3 and ZnO doping made anatase TiO2 crystal phase characteristic diffraction peak broadening, created ilmenite and zincite new phases and af- fected the degree of crystallinity of anatase TiO2.Under UV light irradiation the industrial pearlescent mica wastewater de- graded 6 h,doping Fe2O3 with mass fraction of 0.5%,the degradation rate was 98.8%,and doping ZnO with mass fraction of 1.5%,degradation rate was 91.4%.
