Abstract: To overcome the shortages of alkaline alumina, which has been widely used as regeneration catalyst of anthraqui- none degradation in production of hydrogen peroxide by anthraquinone route, eight organic alkalies, such as aniline,1-naph- thylamine, pyridine N,N′-dibutyl aniline,N,N′-dimethyl aniline,N-methyl morpholine, ethylamine, and ethylenediamine, were applied as regeneration catalyst, and their regeneration effects on anthraquinone degradation were studied. Results showed that with the increase of alkaline of organic alkalies, the effective anthraquinone increment increased at the early stage and then decreased. The organic alkalies, which ionization equilibrium constant(pKa) value was at 5.20~5.49,had a higher value of EAQ increment and effective anthraquinone increment than those of the alkali alumina.Among them,N,N′-aniline dibutyl showed the best catalytic performance and stability, and the optimal conditions were as follows:mass fraction of the catalyst was 0.8%,reaction time was 24 h,reaction temperature was 40 ℃,and flow rate of O2 was 30 mL/min.
