Abstract:

Electrolytic manganese residue and cement clinker were selected as stimulating agents and the influence of the amount of electrolytic manganese residue on the activation of hot-stewed steel slag was mainly studied, and the effect of electrolytic manganese residue on the microstructure of hydration products and cement stone were analyzed by XRD and SEM. The result showed that when the content of electrolytic manganese slag was 12%(mass fraction),the effect of sulfate stimulation on clinker heat-stewed slag system was better,it accelerated the hydration rate of steel slag and greatly improved the early strength and late strength of steel slag cementitious materials. However,it had little effect on the type of hydration products; compared with unincorporated activator group, the flocculation of the steel slag cementitious material after excited mainly consisted of flocculent C—S—H gel and a small amount of AFt crystal, each hydration product had a good match and forming a dense structure,so that the entire system obtained higher strength.
