Research status of viscosity characteristics of chlorinated molten salt system

Abstract:

The content of calcium and magnesium in titanium raw materials is high in China.The molten salt chlorination process is mainly used and produced a large amount of waste salt,which is difficult to treat.The study on the viscosity characteristics of chlorinated molten salt system is of great significance for the development of new methods for the utilization of a large amount of waste salt produced by this process.The research on the effect law of viscosity of chlorinated molten salt system at home and abroad was reviewed.Starting from the molten salt ions of chlorinated molten salt system,the effect of Ca2+,Mg2+,Na+ and K+ on the viscosity of chlorinated molten salt was discussed.Based on the reaction conditions,the effect of temperature,atmosphere and additives on the viscosity of chlorinated molten salt was discussed.Combined with the current research on the viscosity of chlorinated molten salt system,the variation law of the viscosity of NaCl-KCl-CaCl2-MgCl2 quaternary chlorinated molten salt system was investigated by changing the atmosphere or additives at different temperature.By changing the viscosity of chlorinated molten salt system and seeking the means and methods suitable for efficient separation of high-temperature phase conversion slag,it is of great significance for the efficient and cyclic treatment of molten salt chlorination waste residue by high temperature phase conversion method,which can effectively promote the development of molten salt chlorination in China.
