Standardization and development trend of utilization of copper-containing etching waste solution on circuit boards

Abstract:

In China’s printed circuit board industry,a large amount of copper-containing etching waste solution was produced every year,and its resource products have been widely used in many industries,such as basic copper chloride for feed and in-dustry,copper sulfate for industry and electroplating,basic copper carbonate for catalysts and wood preservatives,etc.Howev-er,the industry’s technical confusion and lack of standards have led to uneven of treatment process and products quality,which remains great environmental risks and waste of resources.The need to develop standards for industry is very urgent.The current standards and trends in the comprehensive utilization of resources and products from copper-containing etching waste solution of printed circuit boards were highlighted.By formulating corresponding standards,setting strict technical requirements,strictly controlling pollutants,controlling product quality,restraining and regulating industry behavior,the manage-ment of China’s circuit board etching waste solution industry and the development of copper salt production and application technology would be promoted,which would promote the development of China’s circular economy and waste-free cities.
