Abstract:

The influence of the addition ratio of chromium slag detoxified by carbon monoxide off-gas on the compressive strength, bending strength and setting time of concrete test samples were experimentally studied. The leaching concentrations of total chromium(Cr) and hexavalent chromium Cr(Ⅵ)were determined, and their effective diffusion co-efficient D and diffu-sion factor L were calculated by semi-dynamic leaching experiment. The results showed that the detoxified chromium slag after fine grinding could meet the requirement of cement mineral admixture. With the increase of adding ratio, the setting time of mortar were extended, the compressive and bending strength were declined, but all the experimental groups meet the strength grade requirements of C60.The D value of Cr(Ⅵ) and total Cr in the sample was 10-10~10-9,L value was more than 9,and the migration ability was very low, which proved that the preparation of mineral admixtures was a safe and effective resource disposal method for detoxified chromium slag.
