Abstract: The oxidized Ni-Mo/Al2O3 catalyst O-1 was prepared by using Ni and Mo as active components and Al2O3 as support. On this basis,a self made water soluble composite sulfide was used as vulcanizing agent to prepare the exsitu presulfurization Ni-Mo/Al2O3 catalyst S-1.The physicochemical properties of the two catalysts were characterized by BET,XRD and HRTEM.The performance of the catalyst for hydrodesulfurization and hydrodenitrogenation of inferior naphtha was investigated. Results showed that the performance of the exsitu presulfurization catalyst on the hydrodesulfurization and hydrodenitrogenation of inferior naphtha was close to that of the oxidized catalyst, and the sulfur and nitrogen contents of hydrogenated naphtha products were less than 0.5 μg/g.The oxidized catalyst can be effectively prevulcanized by using a water soluble composite sulfide as a vulcanizing agent.
