锆英砂球磨过程中颗粒分布的分形研究

Study on fractal characteristics of particle size distribution of zircon sand in ball milling

摘要:

测定了球磨不同时间后锆英砂的粒度分布,计算了其分形维数,并结合颗粒形貌的观察,对球磨过程中粉料的破碎行为做了研究,结果表明:当球磨时间较短时,椭球形原砂被破碎为具有尖锐边角的不规则形状,降低了进一步破碎的难度,破碎效率提高,因此分形维数不断增大;但随着颗粒的细化及其含量的增加,不但自身破碎的难度逐渐增加,而且阻碍了粗颗粒的破碎,故球磨更长时间后分形维数增大的趋势趋缓;同时,锆英砂球磨过程中不同粒度颗粒破碎的难度存在差异,导致随分形维数上升,颗粒分布的离散度快速上升,不利于双峰级配粉的制备。

Abstract:

The particle size distribution of zircon sand after ball milling at different time was measured and its fractal dimen-sion was calculated,and the fractal characteristics of powder during ball milling were studied by observing the particle mor-phology.The results showed that when the ball milling time was short,ellipsoid sand was broken into irregular shape with sharp edge angle,which reduced the difficulty of further breaking and improved the breaking efficiency,so the fractal dimen-sion increased continuously.However, the formation of a large number of fine particles not only increased the difficulty of further fragmentation,but also hindered the crushing of coarse particles,so the increasing of fractal dimension became slower after ball milling for a longer time.At the same time, the difficulty of fragmentation of the zircon sand with different sizes in ball milling process was different,which led to a rapid increase in the dispersion of particle size distribution with the increas-ing of fractal dimension,which was not conducive to the preparation of powder with grain size distribution.
