Phase change materials(PCMs) are latent heat energy storage and release media, which can solve the contradiction between heat energy supply and demand, thereby alleviating the energy crisis.Pure phase change materials have the advan-tages of high energy density, wide temperature, strong energy output stability, etc.,but their low thermal conductivity and the shortcomings of leakage during the phase change process hinder their wide application and development.By combining PCMs with two-dimensional nanosheets, the low thermal conductivity and leakage problems of PCM are effectively solved.Based on detailed description of the thermal conduction mechanism, the research progress of two-dimensional nanosheet composite heat storage materials in recent years was reviewed, such as carbon-based two-dimensional nanosheets, hexagonal boron ni-tride(h-BN) nanosheets, molybdenum disulfide, etc. It provided research strategies for the design of high-performance two-dimensional nanosheet-based composite PCMs.
